Getting Started as a Creator

Welcome to LuvBill! This guide will walk you through setting up your account and getting your first bill paid.

Step 1: Create Your Account

1. Go to luvbill.com/signup
2. Choose "I'm a Creator"
3. Sign up with your email or connect with Google/Twitter
4. Verify your email address

Step 2: Set Up Your Profile

Your profile is what fans see when they visit your LuvBill page. Make it count!

Choose Your Username

Your username becomes your unique link: luvbill.com/yourname

Tips for a good username:

• Use the same handle as your other socials
• Keep it short and memorable
• Avoid special characters

Add Your Info

• Display name - Your name or creator name
• Bio - A short description (keep it friendly!)
• Profile photo - Use a clear, recognizable image
• Social links - Connect your Twitter, Instagram, TikTok

Step 3: Connect Stripe

Before you can receive payments, you need to connect your bank account through Stripe.

1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Payments
2. Click "Connect Stripe"
3. Follow Stripe's secure onboarding process
4. Enter your banking information

Note: Stripe handles all the secure stuff. We never see your bank details.

This usually takes 5-10 minutes. Once approved, you're ready to receive payments!

Step 4: Add Your First Bill

Now the fun part - adding bills for your fans to pay!

1. Go to Dashboard → Bills
2. Click "Add Bill"
3. Fill in the details:
   • Name - What's the bill for? (e.g., "Rent", "Netflix", "Nails")
   • Amount - How much is it?
   • Category - Pick the closest match
   • Description (optional) - Add context if you want

Step 5: Share Your Link

Time to let your fans know!

Where to Share

• Instagram bio
• Twitter/X bio
• TikTok bio
• YouTube description
• Link in stories
• Pinned post

What to Say

Keep it natural:

• "Help me pay my bills 💕 luvbill.com/yourname"
• "My bills need paying 👀 link in bio"
• "Support me directly → luvbill.com/yourname"

What Happens Next?

When a fan pays one of your bills:

1. You get a notification
2. The money is deposited to your bank (usually 2-3 business days)
3. You can thank them via chat (if they created an account)
4. The bill shows as "Paid" on your profile
