Everything you need to know about getting paid on LuvBill.

How Payments Work

When a fan pays one of your bills:

Fan pays $100
    ↓
Stripe processes payment
    ↓
LuvBill fee: $5 (5%)
Stripe fee: ~$3.20 (2.9% + $0.30)
    ↓
You receive: ~$91.80

Fee Breakdown

Example: $50 Bill Payment

• Fan pays: $50.00
• LuvBill fee: -$2.50
• Stripe fee: -$1.75
• You receive: $45.75

Example: $200 Bill Payment

• Fan pays: $200.00
• LuvBill fee: -$10.00
• Stripe fee: -$6.10
• You receive: $183.90

When Do I Get Paid?

Payouts happen automatically through Stripe:

• Standard: 2-3 business days after payment
• First payout: May take 7-14 days (Stripe verification)

Stripe deposits directly to your connected bank account.

Viewing Your Earnings

Dashboard Overview

Your dashboard shows:

• Total earned (all time)
• Earned this month
• Pending payouts
• Recent payments

Detailed History

Go to Dashboard → Earnings to see:

• Every payment received
• Fee breakdowns
• Payout history
• Export options

Tips on Payments

Fans can add tips on top of bill payments:

• Tips follow the same fee structure (5% + Stripe fees)
• Tips show separately in your earnings
• You can see tip messages in your dashboard

Stripe Dashboard

For detailed financial info, access your Stripe Express dashboard:

1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Payments
2. Click "View Stripe Dashboard"

In Stripe you can:

• See detailed transaction history
• Update bank information
• View payout schedule
• Download tax documents

Taxes

LuvBill doesn't withhold taxes. You're responsible for reporting your earnings.

What you'll need:

• Keep track of your total earnings
• Stripe provides 1099 forms if you earn $600+ in a year (US)
• Consult a tax professional for advice

We recommend:

• Setting aside 20-30% for taxes
• Keeping records of all payments received
• Using accounting software to track income

Troubleshooting

Payment not showing up?

1. Check your email for payment confirmation
2. Look in Dashboard → Earnings → Recent
3. Allow up to 24 hours for processing

Payout delayed?

Common reasons:

• Bank holidays
• Stripe verification in progress
• First-time payout (takes longer)

Check your Stripe dashboard for status.

Wrong bank account?

1. Go to Dashboard → Settings → Payments
2. Click "View Stripe Dashboard"
3. Update your bank info in Stripe
